Upgrade your kitchen cabinets

Kitchen cabinets are an integral feature of your kitchen. Not only do they provide functionality but they also add to the overall aesthetic of your kitchen. Over the years, you might begin to notice signs of wear and tear on your cabinets.

Along with noticeable grease and grime stains, especially in the kitchen, you might also notice the paint of your cabinets starting to chip, peel, and fade.

Repainting your kitchen cabinets can instantly brighten up your kitchen and take its place as the main focal point of your kitchen as it once was. Achieving a flawlessly painted set of kitchen cabinets isn’t an easy task, however, and requires the expertise of a painter specialized in cabinet painting.
Pennsylvania is home to professionals in cabinet painting, who with their skills and years of experience can have your kitchen cabinets looking good as new.

Why invest in a professional service?

The levels of attention to detail given to any painting project remains unmatched. You will not only be investing in a durable set of kitchen cabinets but you will also be getting personalized service.
At Old World Painting, we follow a thorough and meticulous process to ensure that your cabinets will be the wow factor of your kitchen for the years to come.

Before beginning to paint, we make sure to remove all cabinets off their hinges and prep them. We don’t compromise on prep work as this is what determines the durability of the cabinets.

Our cabinet painting process is carried out with only top-of-the-line products to give your cabinets a flawless, high-quality finish. Our paints and primers are sourced from reputable brands like Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Fine Paints of Europe, which play a huge role in the finishes we’re able to achieve every time.

Our quality workmanship is something that we take great pride in here at Old World Painting. Our philosophy is to prioritize time and quality and let the results speak for themselves.

We understand that the kitchen is one of the most frequented rooms in a home and for this very reason, we assure you that your newly painted cabinets will be back where they belong in no time while making sure that no inconvenience is caused during the process of removal and reinstallation.

FAQs

Urethane alkyd enamel paint which is a mix of oil-based and water-based paints can guarantee a long-lasting finish.

One coat of primer followed by two coats of paint is sufficient. However, if you’re planning on painting your cabinets with a lighter shade, two coats of primer and two coats of paint should suffice.

We recommend you wait at least 2-3 days before closing all the doors and drawers. This is because although the paint will seem dry to the touch in a few hours, it ideally takes around 72 hours for the paint to fully dry.

A semi-gloss sheen is ideal for kitchen cabinets as it dries to form a harder surface than other paints would. This is excellent for durability and makes it much easier to clean.
