Our team has experience in all aspects of painting, including residential, commercial, interior, exterior, and historical restorations. We take pride in our work as both a house and commercial painting company, and it shows.

Apostoli Matsikas – Owner

Painting is more than just a job for Apostoli – it’s his passion. A modern-day Renaissance man, Apostoli combined his love of architecture, 15+ years of professional experience within the construction and painting industries, and entrepreneurial spirit to establish a house painting company and commercial painting company that would prioritize customer satisfaction, quality, and superior craftsmanship above all else.

Like many of his team members, Apostoli finds working on historical restorations to be especially rewarding—but most of all, he loves witnessing clients’ smiles when they first see the results of their finished project.

DJ Dorsey – Foreman/Trainer

DJ has nearly ten years of experience in both painting and construction, and particularly enjoys refining his craft with Victorian restorations and fine finish work. DJ serves as a foreman for Old World Painting, overseeing projects to make sure they run smoothly from start to finish. He also leads the training and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring that all team members follow the company’s standards for high-quality work.

Craig Klekman – Foreman

Craig began his career working for a general contractor, and quickly realized that painting and carpentry projects were his preferred types of work. Today, Old World Painting’s clients benefit from his 10+ years of expertise in this area, which goes beyond painting baseboards and trim work to include carpentry repairs and refinishing when needed. As foreman, Craig leads the customer experience and oversees quality control. He works closely with clients to make sure their input is heard throughout the process, their expectations are met, and that any issues that may arise are resolved immediately.
